Emmy-nominated Kerry Washington and Glen Close have joined the star-studded cast of Knives Out, Variety reported.

Daniel Craig would return as detective Benoit Blanc in the hit Netflix movie. Andrew Scott, Josh O’Connor, and Cailee Spaeny are the other cast members.

Knives Out movies are known for their whodunit plots and it is expected that many stars would join the ensemble in the coming weeks.

The third instalment is titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, which is directed by Rian Johnson. He’s also producing with his T-Street partner Ram Bergman, who worked on the first two films.

The movie is expected to soon go into production and is slated to release in 2025. While fans await to read about the plot, Johnson and Craig have claimed that it is Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.”
