Utility stores slash price of ghee
Prices also slashed for BISP beneficiaries
The Utility Stores Corporation has announced a reduction of Rs18 per kilogram in the price of subsidized ghee.
A spokesperson for the Corporation stated that ghee will now be available for Rs375 per kilogram for beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
The price reduction also applies to general consumers, who will now pay Rs445 per kg instead of Rs463/kg.
The spokesperson confirmed that the new prices have been implemented immediately.
