A passenger bus traveling from Darazinda to Dera Ismail Khan was attacked by terrorists near the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to police, the terrorists forced passengers off the bus and attempted to hijack it before setting it ablaze. The fire completely destroyed the bus.

Police further reported that the terrorists also assaulted the bus driver.

The terrorists reportedly warned the bus owner against cooperating with the government, threatening him with death if he continued to support the government and speak out against the Taliban.

Following the attack, the terrorists fled the scene. Police have launched an operation in the area to apprehend the perpetrators.
