A measles and chickenpox outbreak in the Syedaan area near Kabirwala has claimed the lives of six children.

According to Deputy DHO Dr. Alam Sher, health department and WHO teams have been deployed to the affected area.

Medical teams confirmed a chickenpox outbreak in the area, while a child infected with measles was also identified and transferred to a hospital.

The outbreak has sparked concern among local residents, who have called for urgent action to deal with the outbreak.
