Brazilian pop star Anitta made her highly anticipated US debut with her “Baile Funk Experience” tour, playing a sold-out show at the Wiltern theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The show featured nearly 30 songs from Anitta’s latest album “Funk Generation”, showcasing the vibrant favela funk sound of her native Brazil. Prominent figures from the entertainment industry were in attendance, including singers Bella Poarch, Chloe Bailey, and Becky G, as well as actor Diego Boneta.

Although the Wiltern’s unconventional setup posed some difficulties, Anitta and her dancers were able to create an atmosphere reminiscent of an underground warehouse rave.

Dance circles erupted throughout the venue as the 31-year-old singer wowed the audience with her captivating choreography, particularly during the performance of her hit “Sabana”.

The production values were minimalistic yet effective, with Anitta and her dancers making quick costume changes. One memorable moment involved the dancers balancing on their tiptoes and gripping a chain-link fence, mirroring the set of the music video for Anitta’s collaboration with Bad Gyal, “Double Team”.
