In an emotional update, Brandi Rhodes revealed that she recently underwent successful surgery to address her stage 4 endometriosis. The wife of current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shared that she had been dealing with 3 years of pain with no answers, until fellow wrestler Maryse’s story encouraged her to advocate for her health.
After numerous appointments, Brandi was diagnosed with the advanced stage of endometriosis, a painful condition where uterine tissue grows outside the uterus. Brandi expressed gratitude for her successful surgery and called on women to listen to their bodies and not suffer in silence.
“3 years of pain with no answers. @MaryseMizanin ‘s story encouraged me to press on. Many appts later, we found the answer. Stage 4 endometriosis. Successful surgery today. Ladies, listen to your bodies. We don’t have to live with pain. Advocate for yourself. Finally on the road to recovery,” Brandi tweeted.
