American singer-cum-actress Jennifer Lopez stepped out with her wedding ring on full display at the Los Angeles premiere of her new Netflix movie “Atlas” on Monday, amidst rumours of marital troubles with actor Ben Affleck.

Lopez donned a simple ivory top and black mermaid skirt for the red carpet event, accessorising with a statement necklace and matching earrings featuring green stones. The platinum band she shares with Affleck, whom she married in Las Vegas in July 2022, was clearly visible on her left hand.

This sighting comes just a day after the couple were spotted together in Los Angeles, attending a family event before heading to a restaurant. During the outing, Affleck also wore his wedding band, while Lopez kept her hands in her pockets as they walked through a parking lot.

Their appearance together follows weeks of speculation about their relationship status. Lopez did not have Affleck as her date at the 2024 Met Gala, which she co-chaired, and she recently “liked” an Instagram post that alluded to being unable to build a relationship with someone disconnected from themselves.

Rumours of a possible separation intensified when multiple outlets reported that the couple were living apart. However, Lopez and Affleck have a history of overcoming challenges in their relationship. They first broke up in 2003 before rekindling their romance two decades later.

In a 2022 interview, Lopez described calling off their initial engagement as the “biggest heartbreak” of her life. However, she believes their love story “does have a happy ending.”

“Once we got whole enough, complete enough, loved ourselves enough and could stand on our own two feet really completely, as the universe had it, we were bought into each other’s lives again,” she said. “It was like a crack in the clouds and the sun came through.”
