Chris Hemsworth to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Chris Hemsworth, best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ceremony will take place on May 23 at 11:30am.
Hemsworth is the latest Marvel actor to receive this honour, joining his Avengers co-stars Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd, Don Cheadle, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Josh Brolin.
The ceremony will be attended by filmmaker George Miller, who directed Hemsworth in the latest Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga film.
Hemsworth’s star will be 2,781 artist on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, recognising his contributions to the entertainment industry.

‘I don’t know if I should admit, I didn’t steal but I definitely said, “This is coming with me”, Chris Hemsworth.
In addition to his role as Thor, Hemsworth has starred in the “Extraction” films for Netflix and will voice Optimus Prime in the upcoming “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.” He is also set to co-star with Sam Rockwell in the upcoming spy film “Project X” from director Matthew Vaughn.
