Dar, Prince Faisal review preparations for Saudi crown prince’s visit to Pakistan
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Saudi Arabia counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah reviewed on Sunday the preparations for the upcoming visit of the Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to Pakistan.
In a telephonic conversation with the Saudi FM, Dar emphasised that the people of Pakistan “are eagerly anticipating the arrival of His Royal Highness at a mutually agreed-upon date.”
They also discussed the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, exploring opportunities to further enhance cooperation across various sectors.
This “dialogue emphasised the deep and lasting partnership” between the two countries.
The ministers also discussed the dire situation in Gaza and other pressing regional and global issues of shared concern.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region through joint efforts and dialogue.
Last week, it was reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan has been postponed.
