Administration issues special instructions for vehicle owners in heat wave

Temperatures of upto 55 degrees are expected

General Administration of Civil Defense has issued precautionary measures to inform the citizens about the expected heatwave.

In a statement issued by the General Administration of Civill Defense, it was stated that the temperature is likely to rise between 47 to 55 degrees Celsius in the coming days. Additionally, the presence of cumulonimbus clouds, which are responsible for increased atmospheric pressure, has been observed in most areas.

In view of this, certain warnings and precautionary measures are being implemented.

The General Administration of Civil Defense advises removing flammable materials, lighters, beverages, perfumes, and generally any devices with batteries from vehicles.

According to the instructions, car windows should be slightly opened to allow air circulation, fuel tanks should not be completely filled, and refueling should be done during the evening hours. It is recommended not to travel by car during the morning hours. Especially during travels, tires should not be overinflated.

The issued instructions also emphasized caution regarding snakes and scorpions, as they are likely to emerge from their dens and may enter fields and houses in search of refrigerators.

Similarly, increased use of water and fluids is advised. Gas cylinders should not be exposed to direct sunlight, and the load on electricity meters should not be increased. Air conditioners should only be operated in the presence of family members, particularly during extreme heat hours.

Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, especially between 10 AM and 3 PM.
