Savannah Gankiewicz from Hawaii has been crowned as Miss USA 2023, filling the vacancy left by the previous titleholder who resigned for mental health reasons.

Born and raised on the on island of Maui, Gankiewicz is not only a successful model but also an advocate for female empowerment through her nonprofit organization.

The official coronation took place in Honolulu on May 15, with Hawaii Governor Josh Green in attendance. Gankiewicz, who had been the first runner-up in the pageant held last September, graciously accepted the title during the special event. She will hold Miss USA 2024 untill it is scheduled to take place from July 24 to August 4.

Gankiewicz steps into the shoes of Noelia Voigt, who previously held the Miss USA 2023 title but made the difficult decision to step aside due to mental health concerns. Voigt, a former Miss Utah, expressed her gratitude to her supporters and emphasized the importance of prioritizing one’s physical and mental well-being.
