Bollywood stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have reportedly decided to call it quits after a speculated two-year relationship, according to Indian media reports.

There has been no official confirmation from either party, sources close to the duo have revealed that they ended their relationship around March.

Fans and followers of the couple were taken by surprise by this recent development, as Aditya and Ananya had been seen together at various events and parties over the past couple of years.

Their much-talked-about vacation in Portugal also added fuel to the rumours of their romance.

However, the actors have chosen to remain silent about their personal relationship status throughout.

An insider, speaking to Bombay Times, disclosed that “they broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite strong, and the break-up came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on, of course, there’s hurt.”

Report added that Ananya is currently finding solace in spending time with her new furry friend, while Aditya is handling the situation with maturity.

Speculation about their split heightened when Ananya posted a cryptic message on her Instagram stories last month, reflecting on the complexities of love and personal growth.

The 25-year-old actress wrote, “If it is truly meant for you, it will come back to you. It will leave only for the sake of teaching you the lessons you could only learn on your own. If it is truly meant for you, it will return even if you’ve pushed it away. Even if you’re in denial, even if you assume something so beautiful could never be truly yours - because if it’s truly meant for you, it is never not a piece of you.
