An 11-year-old Indian boy has died after a cricket ball hit his private part in Pune, India Today reported.

The boy identified as Shaurya was bowling toward the batsman standing in front of him.

But the ball was struck by the batsman in full force, smacking his private parts and he was seen collapsing on the ground in a camera footage.

His friends came to him; however, Shaurya did not respond to them and carried him outside the stadium.

He was rushed to hospital immediately where he was declared dead by doctors.
