The highly sought-after quarterback prospect J.J. McCarthy has made a bold prediction regarding his future in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

McCarthy’s statement has sent shockwaves through the football world and could potentially lead to a trade worth a staggering $160,000,000.

McCarthy’s stock has skyrocketed, making him one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the draft.

In a recent appearance on the popular “Rich Eisen Show,” McCarthy dropped a bombshell prediction that has the potential to reshape the quarterback market.

When asked about his potential landing spot, McCarthy revealed, “I mean, I have somewhat of an idea. New York Giants… I’ve spent the most time with them, you know, they’re a phenomenal staff. Love Coach Daboll, love Mr. Shane, love Coach Tierney, Coach Kafka, Chicago guy.”

McCarthy’s prediction has significant implications for the New York Giants, who currently have Daniel Jones as their starting quarterback.

The Giants hold the sixth overall pick in the draft, but there is another team positioned higher at the third spot that has expressed interest in acquiring J.J. McCarthy’s talents.

The New England Patriots, led by owner Robert Kraft, are also in search of a long-term replacement for the legendary Tom Brady and reportedly see shades of Brady’s potential in McCarthy.

McCarthy’s desire to join the Giants stems from the familiarity he has with the coaching staff, particularly due to their connections to his alma mater, Alabama.

“Just being able to go in there and pretty much know most of the install because Coach Daboll came from Alabama, and Coach Gattis came to Michigan from Alabama. So, it’s similar formations, motions, plays, all that stuff. Being able to get that installed was great. I’ve met with them twice. It’s been amazing,” McCarthy explained.
