Tragedy struck at the DHQ Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital in Gujrat when the roof of the surgical ward collapsed, leaving one woman dead and several others injured.

The incident caused panic and chaos as people frantically searched for their loved ones amidst the debris.

Following the collapse, numerous patients, along with their beds, were relocated to the hospital’s ground floor.

Sources indicate that construction work was ongoing at the hospital at the time of the incident. The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation.
