Indian man glues woman’s mouth shut over property dispute

A disturbing incident that unfolded in Guna district, Madhya Pradesh, where a woman was subjected to brutal assault and torture by her neighbor.

The accused tied the woman up and beat her up. Afterward, he put chili powder in her eyes and glued her mouth shut.

The police have revealed that the accused had ulterior motives, as he coveted the woman’s property, which was registered under her mother’s name.

When the woman refused to transfer ownership of the property, the accused resorted to violence.

According to the victim’s account, the accused had been her neighbor and also her partner for a considerable period of time.

However, their relationship had recently deteriorated, leading to this horrific incident. The accused’s desire to acquire the victim’s ancestral property prompted him to physically attack her.

The assault took place on Tuesday, and the victim, in critical condition, was rushed to the district hospital, where she is currently receiving extensive medical treatment.

Her condition remains serious due to the severe and inhumane treatment she endured.

The victim’s father had passed away, leaving their ancestral home registered in her mother’s name.

The accused’s unwarranted interest in the property provides a possible motive for the assault.

The police apprehended the accused based on the victim’s statement, and investigations are now underway to gather additional evidence and ascertain the full extent of the incident.

In a related development, illegal liquor was also discovered and confiscated from the accused’s residence by the authorities.

Authorities are committed to bringing the accused to justice and ensuring that such heinous acts are not tolerated in society.

The incident has sparked outrage, highlighting the need for stringent measures to prevent violence against women and safeguard their rights.
