Nora Fatehi’s take on prayer and fasting will leave you surprised

She highlights the importance of fasting and prayers in a recent podcast

Lebanese-Canadian dancer and actress Nora Fatehi revealed that she observed fasts throughout the month of Ramadan despite her busy work schedule, and did not miss a single day of fasting this year.

Nora spoke openly about her religious beliefs and practices on Ranveer Allahbadia’s show, Beer Biceps.

The talented artist disclosed that she has been fasting since the age of 14, a habit instilled in her by her parents.

Her family ingrained the significance of fasting in her mind during her childhood, and as she grew older, she embraced the practice.

Nora further shared that she even attended school while observing fasts, and it was completely normal for her.

Fatehi stated that fasting teaches discipline and order in various aspects of life.

She likened prayer to entering a zone of connection with the Creator, where one exists mentally and spiritually in another realm.

She emphasized the beauty of performing the five daily prayers, saying that they serve as moments of pause amidst the chaos of the world, where one stops and expresses gratitude to their Creator.

Nora expressed that supplications and seeking forgiveness should be incorporated into the acts of prayer.

The actress said that due to her hectic schedule, she struggles to consistently perform the five daily prayers, but she endeavours to fulfil them to the best of her ability.

She stressed that when one remembers their Lord and expresses gratitude, it becomes a transaction of giving and receiving.

Recently, Nora was seen in the comedy film “Madgaon Express,” and before that, she made an appearance in the action film “Crack.” After amassing a strong following through her music videos, she is striving to carve a place for herself in the industry as an actress.
