In response to a request from the owner of a private housing society, an inquiry committee has been formed against General Faiz Hamid retired.

According to sources, the committee will investigate allegations of the misuse of powers in the Top City housing society and prepare a report. The inquiry committee has been formed in light of the directives of the higher judiciary.

Sources say that the committee will be headed at the senior level by a major general and once the allegations are proven, the committee will present its recommendations.

Former Director General of the ISI, retired Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid, is facing allegations of misuse use of authorities in the housing society.

The higher judiciary has taken up the matter of the housing society’s affairs for hearing.
