According to Arab media, NRIAG in Egypt has issued a statement, indicating that the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah will be observed on Friday, June 7.

The statement further mentioned that the new moon of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah in the year 1445 AH will remain visible in the skies of Mecca for 11 minutes after sunset and in Cairo for 18 minutes.

According to the astronomical institution in Egypt, based on these calculations, the Day of Arafah is expected to fall on June 15, and Eid al-Adha is likely to be celebrated on June 16.

However, the final decision can only be made after the announcement of the sighting of the Eid al-Adha moon by Saudi Arabia.
