Gold prices in Pakistan reached their highest-ever level on Tuesday. The price of gold per tola is now 249,700 rupees, corresponding with an increase in the international prices.

The price of gold rose by Rs2,400 to reach the record-high level.

The price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 214,077 and increased by Rs 2,057.

On Monday, prices were determined at Rs247,300 per tola for 24-karat gold. while they stood at Rs246,500 per tola on Saturday.

Meanwhile, gold prices rose by $20 to reach #2,391 in the international market.

The increase in gold prices is linked to the fluctuation in US dollar prices, showing an association between currency values and gold prices with also the impact of global economic factors on local gold markets.
