Bishop, others attacked during sermon in Sydney after mall knife attack
A bishop and several other people were stabbed during a sermon in Sydney, Australia on Monday, local media reported. It was being streamed online.
The incident happened on Monday night in the suburb of Wakeley.
The sermon attack comes just two days after a knife rampage in an eastern Sydney shopping mall killed seven people, including a Pakistani security guard.
According to police, a number of people had been stabbed but none of their injuries were life-threatening.
They claimed to have arrested a man. It was also not immediately clear what weapon was used in the attack.
The bishop has been named by local media as Mar Mari Emmanuel.
