Indian rapper and actor, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Pakistani rapper and songwriter, Faris Shafi, recently met, leaving fans from both countries excited over a possible collaboration.

Singh posted a photo on his Instagram account on Sunday with Faris Shafi in a recording studio.

The caption on the picture reads “Welcome my brother from LAHORE the hip hop Icon one n only.”

Faris could be seen in a long-grey kurta and pants; whereas, Singh was dressed in all-black streetwear attire.

This duo’s picture has caught the attention of from both sides of the border, sharing both excitement and an unwelcoming attitude towards the collab.

Faris Shafi is a Pakistani rapper, songwriter and actor. He can perform in Urdu, English and Punjabi languages and is famous for his personal and political lyrics. Shafi debuted his career with ‘Awaam.’

Yo Yo Honey Singh or Hirdesh Singh is a bhangra and hip-hop, Punjabi music producer in India. His first famous song “Angreji Beat” made him a household name.
