Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday granted a one-year extension to Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, sources said.

PM Shehbaz has sent the summary to President Asif Ali Zardari for the extension in CAS Sidhu’s tenure in the office, they added.

CAS Sindh was set to retire tomorrow (Monday) after the completion of this three-year tenure in the top post.
