Naseem Memon appointed chairman KBISE
Professor Naseem Memon, who was removed from his post over harassment allegations, has been appointed as chairman of Karachi’s Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Sindh’s ombudsman had ordered his removal as chairman of Larkana’s board over his involvement in a harassment scandal.
However, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori had written a letter to the Sindh government for commutation of his sentence.
After Memon was cleared, he had approached the Sindh High Court for reinstatement.
He has now been posted as chiarman of the KBISE.
Memon had been removed from his post in Larkana in November last year after an inquiry found him guilty of harassing female teachers in Larkana and Hyderabad. The charges against him include sending objectionable texts to women.
