PSL 9: Peshawar Zalmi beat Multan Sultans by four runs
Peshawar Zalmi beat Multan Sultans by four runs in the 21st match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Babar Azam was declared player of the match for his performance.
Zalmi were cruising at a strike rate of 12 runs/over as Azam and Saim Ayub hit the Sultans’ bowlers all across the park.
The Muhammad Rizwan-led Sultans sit at the top of the table with 12 points after winning six out of their last seven games.
Zalmi, on the other hand, have won three out of their seven games and a game was washed out, giving them one point, taking their total to seven points. They are ranked fourth in on the points table.
