Pakistan Army shoots down Indian quadcopter along LoC
The Pakistan Army shot down an Indian quadcopter that was spying inside the country’s territory near the Line of Control (LoC) area.
The quadcopter was shot down on February 25 after which a search operation was initiated for the remains of the device.
The security forces successfully retrieved the remains the next day on February 26.
The marking on the device showed that the quadcopter belonged to a unit of the Indian Air Force (IAF).
The operation came as Pakistan celebrated the success of Operation Swift Retort in 2019 when the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down an intruding fighter plane of the IAF.
The pilot of the fighter jet was captured and was later released as a goodwill gesture.
