One killed, three injured in blast in Pakistan-Afghanistan border area
A bomb explosion at the border area in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa killed one while three were injured on Monday, sources said.
The explosion, reported to be remote-controlled, targeted a vehicle in the Angur Ada border area falling under Afghanistan jurisdiction, they added.
The victim, identified as Noor Wali Shah Gangikhel, and the injured were moved to District Hospital Wana.
All of the injured, identified as Shehbaz Gangikhel, Nisar, and Khair Muhammad were reported to belong to the same family.
According to sources, the explosion occurred two kilometers inside the Afghan territory.
