Bushra approaches courts to declare punishments in Toshakhana, Iddat cases void
She is currently incarcerated in the couple’s Banigala residence
Former first lady Bushra Bibi approached courts in Islamabad against punishments in the Toshakhana and Iddat cases on Saturday.
In a petition in the Islamabad High Court and district and sessions court, she urged the courts to declare the punishments in the two cases as null and void.
Bibi, the wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, in her petition said that the decision was “illegal, un-Islamic, and against justice and Sharia.
She approached the courts through her lawyers Barrister Salman Safdar, Zaheer Abbas, and Usman Gull.
