PTI’s Amir Dogar calls on PPP’s Pervaiz Ashraf
In a first contact between the two parties, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Amir Dogar called on Pakistan Peoples Party’s Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
Dogar called on Ashraf at his residence in Islamabad on Friday night. Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani was also present in the meeting.
According to sources, Dogar and Ashraf discussed the overall political situation in the country as well as the post-election scenario.
Dogar also congratulated Ashraf on his victory in the elections, the sources said.
However, later reports added that Dogar spoke to the speaker regarding lodging for the newly-elected members of parliament belonging to the PTI.
Ashraf told Dogar in reply that parliament lodges would only be allotted after the members have been notifiied.
