Imran Khan nominates Ali Amin Gandapur for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) nominated Ali Amin Gandapur for the post of chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday.
PTI founder Imran Khan confirmed Gandapur’s nomination to journalists in a formal talk.
He said that the PTI will not negotiate with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahid Qoumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) for the formation of the government.
It is pertinent to mention that the PTI-backed independent candidates were expected to join the Jamaat-e-Islami, sources said as the two parties made contacts after the general elections.
In this regard, committees have been formed after the PTI chairman and the JI ameer made contacts. A three-member committee has been formed by both sides for the task.
