Pakistani actor Mahira Khan has rebuffed rumours of her pregnancy after her second marriage with Salim Karim.

“It’s not true that I’m pregnant. And I haven’t left the Netflix series,” she told The Express Tribune.

Her clarification comes after sections of Indian media reported that Raees actor was expecting her second child with Karim.

The news was run on the basis of a Reddit post from a user who while quoting a close source made the claims. It went viral on Indian media.

A Pinkvilla Instagram post said: “Actress Mahira Khan is all set to become a Mama to two and welcome her first baby with hubby Salim Karim. The couple recently tied the knot and took the whole gram by storm with their wedding pictures. We wish nothing but love and happiness for their new journey ahead. Congratulations guys.”

Mahira Khan tied the knot with businessman Salim Karim last year in October. Videos of the wedding had gone viral on social media.

The actress was married to Ali Askari in 2007 and the couple was blessed with a son, Azlan, two years later. However, the couple had decided to part ways in 2015.
