Different parts of Karachi received light rain on Tuesday (today), turning the weather chilly in the city.

The weather would remain dry in the city on Wednesday, it added.
Meanwhile, the weather remains dry and cold in most parts of the country. The PMD stated that the weather remains cold and partly cloudy in the upper regions.
“Overall a tendency for near normal rainfall is expected in most parts of the country during February 2024,” the PMD’s Outlook for February said.
The day time maximum and night time minimum temperatures are expected to remain above normal nationwide, with maximum departure over Gilgit Baltistan, northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and adjoining areas of Kashmir as well as western Balochistan.
It added that the weather would result in improvement in air quality index which would reduce seasonal illnesses caused by the prolonged dry condition in the country.
