Security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Mardan on Monday.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations, the operation was conducted after presence of terrorists was reported.

“During the conduct of operation, after intense fire exchange, two terrorists were sent to hell,” ISPR said.

“Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.”

ISPR added that the a clearance operation was carried out in the area after the operation.
