At least four people were injured when a cracker went off in Balochistan’s Jaffarabad on Thursday, police said.

They added that the blast occurred near a hotel, which is close to the National Highway.

Police have cordoned off the area and a bomb disposal squad has reached the site of the incident.

The incident comes on the heels of a blast near the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rally in Balochistan’s Sibi on Tuesday. It killed four people and wounded six.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has sought a report from the Balochistan inspector general and the chief secretary.
