Watch: How Indian actor Ayushmann Khurrana started his journey
Many fans know that Indian actor Ayushmann Khurrana was a VJ before entering into the film industry. But not everyone is aware of the fact that the actor who made his debut with Vicky Donor had given an audition for Channel V’s Popstars.
The competition where he participated with his brother Aparshakti Khurana opened doors for him in Bollywood. They sang Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe from the movie Dil Chahta Hai at the singing reality show audition.
The fact came to be known after Ayushmann commented on the clip of the audition on X.
“We started from here,” he wrote while reacting to the 38-second video. “Everyone has the right to see dreams. Lesson from personal experience- not to undermine anyone’s human potential,” he wrote with a heart emoji.
The Khurrana brothers look different in the video. Ayushmann made a joke that they are “Shakti unlimited” when one of the judges Palash Sen said the name of Aparshakti sounds like a brand of ghee.
Ayushmann is expected to be seen next in Badhaai Ho 2 while Aparshakti will next be seen in the sequel of Stree.
