Pakistani veteran actress Reema Khan said that the Indian film industry is controlled by groups who don’t give space to others, especially Pakistani artists.

In her appearance in Tabish Hashmi’s Hasna Mana Hai Reema revealed obstacles she faced during her career as well as life after marriage.

She responded to the questions from the audience and talked about the offers she had received from Bollywood. Many actors including Humayun Saeed, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick Imran Abbas and others worked in Indian films but Reema believes that some people don’t want Pakistani artists in India.

She said Indian directors welcome us and want us to be part of their movies but some influential people take these wrongly, and their acts force artists to flee from there.

Reema admitted that she got offers from Bollywood when she visited India in 2005 to attend the Zee Cine Award.

“India already has a lot of talent, but if they want us to work with them then there should be conditions, as I felt in past. Although our local industry is small it is better and more beautiful than Bollywood.”

Responding to another query, Reema described herself as 10/10 as she believes that he worked tirelessly in every field.

However, Reema also expressed her wish to return to the screen with a leading role and added that she will work if receives a good script in future.
