The jewellers association in Pakistan has announced the latest gold rates for January 9, indicating a decrease of Rs1.900 per tola or 11 grams in the price.

All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association said on Tuesday that the rate of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,629 and now the price stands at Rs185,271.

After the price change, one tola of gold in the country has become Rs216,100

The international rate of gold on Friday was set at $2,047 per ounce, after a decline of $18 in the international market, the associated added.
