Try mutton broth this winter in Karachi
With the start of the winter season, a large number of citizens throng soup stalls to keep them warm. Although the city is known for its food varieties, the mutton broth was different to what many outlets was selling in the city.
It is available in the city’s Old Goimar area. The mutton broth is considered an amazing remedy to cure fever, cough and hand and limb pain as well. It merits here to mention that the mutton flavour is widely loved by consumers through extremely simple processing in Pakistan’s northern areas, northwest China, such as Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, and Xinjiang.
To prepare broth, mutton bones are boiled well in water and various spices are added to it.
The shopkeeper said that he and his wife made it together. He added that they try to use fresh meat and bones every day. Special spices were added to the broth, according to the shopkeeper.
Some of the people at the stall said that the taste was unique and the price was reasonable.
