Heavy fog in many parts of Sindh and Punjab

Several highways have been closed due to heavy fog in many plain areas of Sindh and Punjab.

Motorway M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin, and Motorway M3 from Faizpur to Rajana were closed.

Motorway M4 from Sher Shah to Pindi Bhatian and Motorway M5 from Sher Shah to Rohri have been closed due to fog.

Lahore-Sialkot Motorway has also been closed to traffic due to fog.

Apart from this, among the most polluted cities in the world today, Karachi is in third and Lahore in fifth place.

On the other hand, in Gilgit-Baltistan, normal life has been severely affected as cold caused the mercury to drop to minus 15.

Dry and rainy weather has been predicted in most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the severity of cold in the hilly areas will continue, the temperature of Kalam was minus 4 degrees, and Deir Safar, Parachinar, and Saidusharif recorded 1 degree. Chitral and Peshawar recorded a minimum temperature of 4 degrees.
