How many public holidays will Pakistanis get in 2024?
The federal govt issued the complete list on Wednesday
The federal government has issued a list of 11 public holidays leading to a total of 16 days off for 2024.
The notification issued by the cabinet secretariat also lists 22 optional holidays and three bank holidays.
The public holidays are as follows

Ashura | Tue and Wed | July 16 and 17 |
Independence Day | Wednesday | August 14 |
Eid Milad-un-Nabi | Monday | September 16 |
Allama Iqbal Day | Saturday | November 9 |
Quaid Day/Christmas | Wednesday | December 25 |
Day after Christmas* | Saturday | December 26 |
