Following the lackluster performance of Pakistan in the first test match with the Aussies, the team is under criticism; the former chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ramiz Raja has also expressed disappointment with his scathing remarks while highlighting the gravity of the situation.

Australia defeated Pakistan in the first match of the test series with 360 runs. The Aussies showcased their supremacy over visitors with outclass performance. However, critics are expressing feelings of disheartening over the situation and Ramiz Raja’s remark fueled the fire.

The former chairman of PCB did not take the team’s work easy and highlighted the absence of attention and techniques in their follow-up. According to the former PCB chief, their swift collapse in just 31 overs during the second innings reflected the superior level at which the Australians had played.

On his X handle, Ramiz wrote: “Intent and technique were both missing from Pak’s ‘resistance menu’.”

However, the netizens are also expressing their dissatisfaction with the cricket team and owning the remarks of Ramiz Raja.

While uncovering views a social media account wrote: “Lack of intent cost us every time.”

Another X user criticized Shaan Masood’s captaincy.

“Corrupt nation corrupt PCB @TheRealPCB from top to bottom,” an X handle said while displaying anger on defeat.

However, cricket lovers term the failure of the team as a repeating story.

Australia had beat Pakistan by 360 runs in the first Test which was played at the Optus Stadium in Perth on Sunday, as the home side had a commanding Test victory against the South Asian side.
