Do you ever wonder why we like to wear dark bright colour clothes in cold weather and light colours in summer? We think bright colours are so trendy that just goes with the winter season but what if we tell you there’s a scientific reason behind these stereotypical thoughts of choosing brighter colours in chilly weather?

The market giants know this fact very well and bring dark colours to the market and we feel quite attracted towards it while choosing our winter clothes such as dark brown jackets, nice maroon sweaters, dark bottoms, and red socks.

There’s a whole scientific reason which colours can do better in winter.

Dark coloured clothes absorb more heat so we feel comfortable in dark-colour clothes in winter. On the other hand, in summer we opt for light-coloured clothes that reflect heat and keep us cool.

However, inside heat also makes us warm but there is another ‘how’ which should be clear, woollen clothes also keep us warm during winter because they are poor conductors of heat but they trap our body heat, thus keeping us warm.

As part of this, there are some winter colours which also assist us in taking our look beyond the beauty.
