There has always been a debate on the best Biryani in Karachi, however, it got tensed when a post on X, erstwhile Twitter, crowned the food from a famous food chain as the right option to have.

Moreover, the post was specially made to address the people living in Islamabad.

“Those in Islamabad, if you want to know how a Biryani really looks like, smells like and tastes like — You Should head over here!” journalist Anas Mallick said as he shared the pictures of the restaurant and the dish.

But it did not go well with the people living in Karachi as they jumped in with an objection in reply to the post.

Many food lovers have maintained that Karachi’s delicacy cannot be found in every restaurant as many food vloggers have started making videos on different restaurants selling food that is a fiery medley of meat, rice, and spice.

“Dear Islamabadis, please ignore this post. Student Biryani doesn’t represent us anymore. Regards A Karachite,” wrote one user.

Another user tried to make fun of the post by suggesting it for the Pakistan team which has been playing a Test match against Australia. In the recent past, the Green Shirts were criticised for their diet plan when they were seen eating rice and other items.

One thought the suggestion by the journalist was not right.

As expected there were also other options from where one can have Biryani.

There was one user who supported Mallick to some extent.
