The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will announce the general election schedule on December 17 (Sunday), Daily Jang reported on Thursday.

ECP has officially announced the date of general elections for the National and four Provincial Assemblies as the 8th of February next year.

Receipt of nomination papers will be started on the day following the announcement of the schedule.

As per the report published in Daily Jang, the sources revealed that the commission has decided to give 54 days for the entire election process which will conclude on February 8, 2024.
