Dozens of people held a protest outside the Election Commission of Pakistan against the PTI intra-party elections as the electoral body heard a host of petitions against polls on Friday.

The protesters held up placards and shouted slogans. They termed the PTI’s December 2 intra-party election as ‘fake’ and ‘unacceptable’.

One of the placards read, ‘theif chairman.’

The identity of the protesters was not clear immediately.

Renegade PTI leader Akbar S Babar, who was inside the ECP premises when the demonstration was being held, told reporters that he did not know who the protesters were.
