Police have managed to identify the man found dead in the tiger enclosure at the Bahawalpur Zoo on Wednesday. The man was found to have a police record as well.

On Thursday, Police identified the man as Muhammad Bilal s/o Muhammad Javed.

The man had a record of being nominated in different cases in three different police stations of Lahore. Police have now forwarded his record to the provincial capital.

A sweeper had entered the zoo on Wednesday morning to find a man lying dead in the tiger enclosure.

No identification documents had been found onthe body and initial reports had expressed a chance of him being a drug addict.

The chief minister had taken notice of the incident after which a committee had been formed to probe the incident.
