Seven people were killed and several others injured in a collision between a truck and a passenger van in Kandhkot city of Kashmore district in Sindh on Monday.

The accident took place near a cadet college when the van was on its way to Sukkur from Kandhkot and the truck was traveling from Karachi to Punjab.

The police said that the accident occurred due to heavy fog.

As per rescue sources, the injured were shifted to a hospital and many of them were in critical condition.
