TikToker sentenced to death in murder case

TikToker Mohammad Niaz alias Alyan convicted for theft and murder

A local court in Islamabad has awarded a death sentence to a convict in the case of theft and murder.

The district and sessions courts in Islamabad sentenced TikToker Mohammad Niaz alias Alyan, to death for theft and murder.

In May 2023, Alyan snatched a car from Khurram Akbar, the 28-year-old son of the plaintiff case, who was on his way from Gujranwala to Islamabad late at night.

According to the witnesses, Alyan killed him and fled from the scene.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra of the session court said that the convict himself identified the scene of the crime, he had thrown the murder device in the bushes near the scene, and a 30-bore pistol was also recovered from Alyan.

The court said that according to the convict, he was present in Peshawar when the news of the murder was received, but there was no witness to his statement.

In its verdict, the court said that the witnesses also identified the convict Alian as an intentional murderer, so in the light of evidence, and witnesses, the culprit was guilty of murder and theft.
