Lakki Marwat’s citizens rushed to the aid of police officials as they confronted a group of terrorists on Saturday, leading to all terrorists being repelled.

Reports said that police officials posted at the Ahmedzai checkpost spotted seven or eight terrorists who were moving through the area, presumably for a terror attack in the area.

The police officials, armed with the latest surveillance equipment, immediately engaged the terrorists.

As the standoff continued, locals from the area rushed to the spot to help the police.

The terrorists were ultimately repelled by the joint effort of the police and the citizens, with no loss of life being reported.
