Sheikh Rasheed’s interim bail extended till Dec 9
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi extended the interim bail of Sheikh Rasheed till December 9.
Former interior minister Sheikh Rashid was granted interim bail in cases related to May 9.
Later, talking to the media outside the anti-terrorism court, Sheikh Rasheed requested Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Chief General Nadeem Anjum with folded hands to form a board on the May 9 incidents and release those who are innocent.
He said that there are dozens of cases against me on May 9, while I was not present anywhere.
Sheikh Rasheed said that the news of the adjournment has also been published in the newspaper, on which Judge Malik Ejaz Asif said that it is a question of the credibility of the court.
Later, ATC Rawalpindi extended the interim bail of Sheikh Rashid and Sheikh Rashid Shafiq and adjourned the hearing till December 9.
